When Amazon.co.jp suspends or holds an electronics listing, the notice usually asks for some of the following: a PSE certificate or test report, a photo of the PSE mark on the product, the details of the Japanese notifying business (届出事業者), and — for radio products — the Giteki certification number. Since 25 December 2025 it may also ask for the name of your Domestic Administrator (国内管理人).

Before you send
- If you do not yet have a notifying business or Domestic Administrator in Japan, do not invent one. Say the listing will remain inactive until the appointment is made, and ask for the deadline. Amazon generally accepts a short remediation window.
- Use the exact Japanese terms above. Seller Support searches for them.
- A "PSE" logo printed by the factory is not evidence of conformity. The certificate or test report and the notifying business are what the reviewer checks.
- Photos: one of the whole product, one close-up of the mark and rating label, both in focus.
What each item costs to obtain (indicative)
Round-mark self-assessment test report: roughly USD 1,700–2,000. Diamond-mark conformity assessment: roughly USD 5,000–6,500. Domestic Administrator service: from about JPY 5,000 per month, provider-dependent. Giteki construction design certification for a module already certified elsewhere: quotation-based.
